I have been working as a professional for 47 years, over this period I have worked with many brands of cameras, lets name a few, Nikon, Hasselblad, Rollei,Arca Swiss, Linhof,Sinar and Yashica.

I used Nikon for the bulk of my first 33 years of working, however after purchasing a large amount of gear from our local Nikon agents in South Africa I changed to the Olympus E System,this was not a easy or cheap move but it was done purely do to the bad attitude and service of the Nikon agent.

My son Warren and I are both fully equiped with the Olympus E System the system has serviced us well over the years.

With the launch of the new Olympus Pen System three years ago I started doing a bit of testing on these new babies.

I started out using the EP1, which still has a special slot in my camera bag,my only frustration with this little fella was the slow focusing, however the camera was the backbone of The Ball And The Pen project that was done in 2010, the funds from the project were used to kit out a young football team in Knysna.

Since then I have purchased a EP2, EP1L, and the latest arrival is the new flagship from Olympus the stunning EP3.

Warren is also using a EP3 and on the training side we use our fleet of trusty EP Ones. These cameras are used to train kids in our area.
